Cael Boe of Elkton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Boe received 74.95% of the vote, beating out North Douglas' Hunter Vaughn, who finished second with 14.91%

Congratulations to Elkton’s Cael Boe for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25. 

Boe, a senior post on the Elkton team, turned in a double-double for the Elks with 18 points and 21 rebounds in their 69-54 victory at Crosspoint Christian in a Class 1A state playoff first-round contest.

Boe received 74.95% of the vote, beating out Hunter Vaughn, a sophomore on the North Douglas team, who finished second with 14.91%. Jackson Leach, a senior on the West Salem team, was third with 7.14% and Trace Benner, a senior on the Caldera team, was fourth with 0.50%. There were nearly 2,000 votes tallied this week.
