2022 NFL Draft recruiting rewind: Tulsa's Tyler Smith to Dallas Cowboys

Tulsa's Tyler Smith has greatly outperformed his recruiting profile - one of the many reasons he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round

Coming out of North Crowley High School (Texas) in the class of 2019, Tyler Smith was anything but a slam dunk first-round pick.

The 6-foot-4, 312-pound offensive lineman was projected as a Group of 5 guard.

While Smith ended up at Tulsa, he developed into a star.

On draft night, he stayed one, as the Dallas Cowboys selected Smith with the No. 24 overall pick.
