On Thursday's "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on ESPN's 1080 The FAN, I took a look at the top 10 commitments in the Pac-12 Conference in the month of May.

But I also explained some of the trends we can see developing within those numbers.

Here are a few topics I went over on top of the top 10 commitments:

- Pac-12 Conference hasn't added a composite top-100 2023 prospect in the calendar year. Is that a problem?

- Oregon is still recruiting at an elite level in the switch from Mario Cristobal to Dan Lanning. And, after years of poor recruiting at wide receiver, the Ducks have turned the page and become a force when it comes to recruiting pass-catchers.

- UCLA has improved its in-state recruiting. Will that continue for the rest of the 2023 recruiting cycle?

- Washington secured Pittsburg four-star wide receiver Rashid Williams. Is this the start of better recruiting results for the Huskies?

- 7 Pac-12 programs haven't secured a commitment in the past month, but six of those seven have landed a pledge since February. Oregon State's last 2023 commitment? November. Is that a problem or are the Beavers gearing up for a big month of June that will effectively erase the five-month drought.
