Union Parish High School (Louisiana) star and LSU Tigers pledge Trey Holly is one of 20 nominees for the nation's best running back.

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound back made headliners earlier this year when he broke the Louisiana all-time career rushing yards record.

So far, Holly has accumulated 9,183 yards and 128 touchdowns in his varsity career.

Here's what SBLive Sports had to say in its Holly nomination:

"Holly has put up 1,177 yards and 16 scores through five games. The LSU commit recently broke the state's all-time rushing record with over 8,700 yards."

LSU fans - and Holly fans - can vote for him here

In traditional recruiting rankings, Holly is a four-star recruit and is rated the nation's No. 17 running back on 247Sports

LSU's 2023 recruiting class is ranked No. 7 nationally and consists of 18 four-star pledges.
