We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Girls’ Player of the Week from Dec. 10-16 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Hayden White, East Clarendon

The 5-foot-7 senior guard 23.3 points over three games – all wins for her team – during the week. She also had 9 points and 9 rebounds in one of the games.

Ava Owens, Pickens

Owens dominated play by scoring 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in the Blue Flame’s 51-45 win over Walhalla.

Hannah Riles, Lake City

Riles, who is in the seventh grade, had 26 points, 6 steals, 3 assists and 3 rebounds in a 57-33 win over Manning,

Joliyah Robinson, Orangeburg-Wilkinson

Robinson scored 16 points and had 4 steals in the undefeated Bruinettes’ 49-37 win over Woodland. Then the 5-foot-6 freshman tallied 23 points and 4 rebounds in a 60-33 rout of Lake Marion.

Danielle Oliver, Greenwood

The 5-foot-6 sophomore had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists as the undefeated Eagles overwhelmed Clinton 49-21. She also had 16 points, 9 steals and 8 rebounds in a 51-5 rout of Gilbert.

Savannah Brown, Landrum

Brown scored 18 points while amassing 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocked shots in a 67-58 win over Spartanburg.

Miracle Cheeks, Eastside

The 5-foot-3 eighth grader produced 17 points, 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 4 assists as the Eagles scored an impressive 62-38 win over Fountain Inn. Cheeks had 16 points and 5 rebounds in a 50-45 win over Woodmont.

Anyah Henderson, Blue Ridge

Henderson put together a double-double of 12 points and 10 assists as the Fighting Tigers held off St. Joseph’s Catholic 58-52. The 5-foot-7 junior also had 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocked shots.

Tamia Watkins, Andrew Jackson

The 6-foot-1 junior center had 21 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals as the Volunteers whipped previously unbeaten Chesterfield 69-36.

Makayla Dukes, Kingstree

Dukes scored 25 points and had 10 steals in the Blazers’ 58-55 win over Lake City. The senior guard had 8 points and 10 steals in a 35-26 win over Lake City as the Blazers swept the season series.
