Mater Dei’s Devin Askew led all scorers with 19 points as the Monarchs beat Compton Tarbabes 71-48 in a game at Beach Bash Tourney - Corona del Mar HS.

Askew’s points came on 8 field goals and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Camron Denson added 10. while Mater Dei improved their record to 4-1.

Mater Dei will travel to Beach Bash Tourney - Corona del Mar HS on Wednesday Dec. 5 at 5:30pm to play Segerstrom.
