Southern Boone edges Eldon 43-41

Southern Boone’s Carrie Ponder led all scorers with 24 points as the Eagles beat Eldon 43-41 in a game at Osage Middle School.”

Ponder’s points came on 8 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Eldon was led by HALDERMAN’s 24 points and BOND added 7. Eldon fell to 0-0 overall while Southern Boone improved their record to 3-5.

Southern Boone will travel to Helias High School on Monday Jan. 15 at 5:00pm to play Helias.
