Bend’s Ben Keown led the way with 16 points as the Lava Bears beat Madras White Buffaloes 72-65 in a game at MHS.

Keown’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Jordan Mitchell added 29. Madras fell to 1-8 overall while Bend improved their record to 6-3.

Madras’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jun. 10 versus Corbett.
