Churchill Lancers beat Sherwood Bowmen 69-62 in Oregon high school basketball game

Churchill Guard Samaje Morgan led all scorers with 29 points as the Lancers beat Sherwood Bowmen 69-62 in a game at Liberty High School, Hillsboro.

Morgan’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Owen Caudle added 21. Sherwood fell to 5-6 overall while Churchill improved their record to 7-3.

Sherwood’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 4 versus Sunset. Churchill will host Ashland on Friday Jan. 7
