Benson Tech beats Putnam 82-65

Benson Tech’s Sean Calhoon led all scorers with 17 points as the Techmen beat Putnam 82-65 in a game at Benson High School.”

Calhoon’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 5 of 5 free throws during the game.

Putnam was led by Dustin Britt’s 24 points and Christian Herbel added 10. Putnam fell to 0-1 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 3-1.

Putnam’s next game is scheduled to be played at Hillsboro on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:15pm versus Hillsboro. Benson Tech will travel to Jefferson High School on Wednesday Dec. 13 at 7:15pm to play Jefferson.
