Benson Tech defeats Franklin 75-62

Benson Tech’s Emanuel Steward led all scorers with 25 points as the Techmen beat Franklin 75-62 in a game at Benson High School.”

Steward’s points came on 6 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Franklin was led by Taylor Pomeroy’s 15 points and Aaron Merrifield-McAdams added 10. Franklin fell to 2-4 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 9-5.

Franklin’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 26 at 7:15pm versus Jefferson. Benson Tech will travel to Lincoln High School on Monday Jan. 22 at 7:15pm to play Lincoln.
