Roosevelt’s Jaylen Lyday led all scorers with 16 points as the Roughriders beat Benson Tech 75-51 in a game at Roosevelt High School.”

Lyday’s points came on 7 field goals and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Benson Tech was led by Joseph Justice’s 12 points and Robert Barber added 10. Benson Tech fell to 9-8 overall while Roosevelt improved their record to 2-3.

Benson Tech’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 2 at 7:15pm versus Jefferson.
