Jefferson edges Grant 81-80

Jefferson’s Marcus Tsohonis led all scorers with 37 points as the Democrats beat Grant 81-80 in a game at Grant High School.”

Tsohonis’ points came on 6 field goals, 5 three pointers and 10 of 11 free throws during the game.

Grant was led by Ty Rankin’s 21 points and Aaron Deloney added 19. Grant fell to 8-3 overall while Jefferson improved their record to 7-2.

Grant’s next game is scheduled to be played at Benson High School on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm versus Benson Tech. Jefferson will host Lincoln on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm.
