Bend cruises by Putnam 62-37

Bend’s Brian Warinner led all scorers with 20 points as the Lava Bears beat Putnam 62-37 in a game at Putnam High School.”

Warinner’s points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 1 of 4 free throws during the game.

Putnam was led by Joe Jesse’s 9 points and Brady Miller added 8. Putnam fell to 0-1 overall while Bend improved their record to 2-0.

Putnam’s next game is scheduled to be played at Hillsboro on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:15pm versus Hillsboro. Bend will host St. Helens on Friday Dec. 8 at 7:00pm.
