Sherwood defeats Newberg 64-45

Sherwood’s Billy Hale led all scorers with 17 points as the Bowmen beat Newberg 64-45 in a game at Newberg High School.”

Hale’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Alexander Jaczko’s 14 points and Jack Chlumak added 14. Newberg fell to 6-5 overall while Sherwood improved their record to 10-5.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at Lakeridge High School on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:00pm versus Lakeridge. Sherwood will host West Linn on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:15pm.
