Lake Oswego’s Josh Angle led all scorers with 22 points as the Lakers beat Newberg 65-53 in a game at Newberg HS.”

Angle’s points came on 4 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Alexander Jaczko’s 20 points and Benjamin O’Loughlin added 9. Newberg fell to 6-7 overall while Lake Oswego improved their record to 13-5.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 2 at 5:45pm versus Tualatin. Lake Oswego will host Lakeridge on Friday Feb. 2 at 7:15pm.
