Sherwood defeats Newberg 58-43

Sherwood’s Jace Sucher led the way with 11 points as the Bowmen beat Newberg 58-43 in a game at Sherwood High School.”

Sucher’s points came on 5 field goals and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Alexander Jaczko’s 14 points and Benjamin O’Loughlin added 13. Newberg fell to 7-7 overall while Sherwood improved their record to 13-9.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 16 at 7:00pm versus Lakeridge. Sherwood will travel to West Linn High School on Friday Feb. 16 at 7:15pm to play West Linn.
