Tualatin cruises by Newberg 57-34

Tualatin’s Alexis Angeles led all scorers with 30 points as the Timberwolves beat Newberg 57-34 in a game at Tualatin.”

Angeles’ points came on 7 field goals, 3 three pointers and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Jacob Willcuts’ 9 points and Garrett Myers added 6. Newberg fell to 6-4 overall while Tualatin improved their record to 9-2.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at Tigard High School on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:00pm versus Tigard. Tualatin will host Canby on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm.
