Benson Tech’s Jaylen Russell led the way with 13 points as the Techmen beat Madison 61-57 in a game at Madison High School .”

Russell’s points came on 3 field goals and 7 of 11 free throws during the game.

Madison was led by Tre Ratcliff’s 19 points and Mujeeb Rufai added 17. Madison fell to 10-1 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 8-5.

Madison’s next game is scheduled to be played at Jefferson High School on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:15pm versus Jefferson. Benson Tech will host Franklin on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:15pm.
