Garfield defeats Jefferson 63-57

Garfield’s Jamon Kemp led all scorers with 18 points as the Bulldogs beat Jefferson 63-57 in a game at Lewis & Clark College.”

Kemp’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Jefferson was led by Marcus Tsohonis’ 17 points and Khalil Chatman added 16. Jefferson fell to 9-3 overall while Garfield improved their record to 13-0.

Jefferson’s next game is scheduled to be played at Cleveland High School on Wednesday Jan. 17 at 7:15pm versus Cleveland. Garfield will travel to Nathan Hale HS on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 7:30pm to play Nathan Hale.
