Stayton Eagles defeat Madras White Buffaloes 69-61 in OR high school basketball game

Stayton Guard Ruben Reyes led all scorers with 21 points as the Eagles beat Madras White Buffaloes 69-61 in a game at Stayton High School.

Reyes’ points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Matthew Suppah Scott added 19. Madras fell to 11-3 overall while Stayton improved their record to 1-1.

Madras’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 20 versus Gladstone. Stayton will host Cascade on Tuesday Jan. 20
