South Albany Rebels edges West Albany Bulldogs 59-56 in Oregon high school basketball game

South Albany Guard Arthur Mercado led all scorers with 21 points as the Rebels beat West Albany Bulldogs 59-56 in a game.

Mercado’s points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 8 of 11 free throws during the game.

Tj Zimmermann added 14. West Albany fell to 2-10 overall while South Albany improved their record to 3-1.

West Albany’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 7:00pm versus Corvallis. South Albany will travel to on Tuesday Feb. 5 at 7:00pm to play West Albany.
