Ione’s Hunter Padberg led all scorers with 29 points as the Cardinals beat Echo Cougars 55-49 in a game at Ione.

Padberg’s points came on 10 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

C W added 13. Echo fell to 1-8 overall while Ione improved their record to 3-19.

Ione will travel to Maurine on Saturday Feb. 9 at 5:30pm to play South Wasco County.
