Benson Tech Techmen edges Roosevelt Roughriders 59-55 in Oregon high school basketball game

Benson Tech’s Jaylen Russell led the way with 24 points as the Techmen beat Roosevelt Roughriders 59-55 in a game at Benson High School.

Russell’s points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Malik Kelley added 10. Roosevelt fell to 1-5 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 6-4.

Benson Tech will travel to Cleveland High School on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:15pm to play Cleveland.
