Jefferson Democrats edges South Salem Saxons 70-65 in Oregon high school basketball game

Jefferson’s Marcus Tsohonis led the way with 21 points as the Democrats beat South Salem Saxons 70-65 in a game.

Tsohonis’ points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Trey Galbraith added 12. South Salem fell to 4-1 overall while Jefferson improved their record to 2-0.

Jefferson will host Cleveland on Wednesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm.
