Jefferson crushes Franklin 47-14

QB Caleb Jordan racked up 339 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to guide Jefferson to a 47-14 win over Franklin on Friday night.

The Democrats also recieved impressive efforts from WR Romeo Akil who caught 5 passes for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Malique Sabb who rushed 13 times for 103 yards and 1 touchdown.

Franklin’s QB Cliff Carlsen threw for 56 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Juan Villafan-Hofmann picked up 15 rushing yards.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Jefferson travels to Portland, OR to face off against the Madison Senators on Friday September 29 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Franklin will take on the Roosevelt Roughriders at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
