Franklin cruises by Roosevelt 31-0

RB Anthony Wilson racked up 111 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead Franklin to a 31-0 win over Roosevelt on Friday night.

The Quakers also recieved helpful efforts from QB Cliff Carlsen who completed 3 passes for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Dee Clayton who rushed 5 times for 54 yards.

Roosevelt’s QB Cabree Figueroa threw for 92 yards, RB Austin Taylor picked up 27 rushing yards and QB Nahshon Tirado had 61 receiving yards.

The win helps Franklin improve to 1-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Franklin travels to Portland, OR to challenge the Grant Generals on Friday September 29 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Roosevelt will challenge the Madison Senators at home on Thursday October 12 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
