Tigard crushes Canby 40-7

Drew Carter accumulated 86 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide Tigard to a 40-7 win over Canby on Friday night at Tigard.

The Tigers also recieved key efforts from RB Jake Leavitt who rushed 11 times for 80 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Spencer Smith who rushed 6 times for 33 yards.

Canby’s QB Trent Wakefield threw for 5 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Elijah Donalson picked up 37 rushing yards and RB Jacob Huggins had 5 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Tigard improve to 6-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Tigard will take on the Tualatin Timberwolves at home on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Canby travels to West Linn, OR to face off against the West Linn Lions on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
