Wilsonville cruises by Franklin 47-0

QB Nathan Overholt racked up 89 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide Wilsonville to a 47-0 win over Franklin on Friday night at Wilsonville High School.

The Wildcats also recieved key efforts from WR Jonah Gomez who caught 3 passes for 69 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Cooper Mootz who rushed 4 times for 46 yards and 1 touchdown.

Franklin’s QB Cliff Carlsen threw for 34 yards, RB Joseph Collyer picked up 42 rushing yards and RB Anthony Wilson had 15 receiving yards.

The win helps Wilsonville improve to 1-1 on the season while Franklin falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Wilsonville travels to Hillsboro, OR to take on the Hillsboro Spartans on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
