Sprague crushes Grants Pass 56-27

QB Spencer Plant picked up 300 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Sprague to a 56-27 win over Grants Pass on Friday night.

The Olympians also recieved crucial efforts from RB Noah Mellen who rushed 27 times for 247 yards and 5 touchdowns and WR Alek Altringer who caught 7 passes for 129 yards and 1 touchdown.

Grants Pass’ QB Blain Hobbs threw for 92 yards, LB Vincent Washington picked up 42 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and CB Tayler Phillips had 79 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Grants Pass falls to 4-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sprague will face off against the Forest Grove Vikings at home on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
