LB Vincent Washington picked up 228 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Grants Pass to a 33-31 win over Willamette on Friday night.
The Cavemen also recieved helpful efforts from QB Blain Hobbs who completed 15 passes for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns and CB Zack Williams who caught 6 passes for 75 yards.
Willamette’s QB Taylor Bridge-Eiler threw for 397 yards and 3 touchdowns, RB Craig Hahn picked up 24 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Tanner Branson had 121 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps Grants Pass improve to 4-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
