Sherwood cruises by Canby 29-7

RB Ian Stormont picked up 164 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Sherwood to a 29-7 win over Canby on Friday night.

The Bowmen also recieved helpful efforts from RB Jacob Reuter who rushed 5 times for 80 yards and 1 touchdown and QB Wyatt Zettlemoyer who completed 6 passes for 104 yards.

Canby’s QB Payton Miller threw for 30 yards, RB Joe Henry picked up 84 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and QB Trent Wakefield had 30 receiving yards.

The win helps Sherwood improve to 2-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sherwood will take on the Lake Oswego Lakers at home on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
