RB Kael Schilperoort picked up 127 rushing yards to guide Sandy to a 28-13 win over Hillsboro on Friday night at Hare Field.

The Pioneers also recieved impressive efforts from RB Orion Shaw who rushed 16 times for 96 yards and RB Colby Carson who rushed 8 times for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Hillsboro’s QB Curran Mitzel threw for 268 yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Isaiah DiRienzo had 76 receiving yards.

With the loss, Hillsboro falls to 1-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
