Lincoln crushes Franklin 41-3

RB Frank Elsner racked up 95 rushing yards to help Lincoln to a 41-3 win over Franklin on Friday night.

The Cardinals also received helpful efforts from RB Charles Willmott who rushed 5 times for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Daniel Kovalev who rushed 8 times for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Franklin’s QB Dashiel Pederson threw for 20 yards, RB Kevin Balawing picked up 70 rushing yards and WR Dee Clayton had 35 receiving yards.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
