McNary’s kailey Doutt led all scorers with 14 points as the Celtics beat Newberg 49-24 in a game at McNary High School.”

Doutt’s points came on 6 field goals and 2 of 5 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Maddie DeVerna’s 6 points and Giselle Benetti added 6. Newberg fell to 0-2 overall while McNary improved their record to 0-0.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 8 at 7:00pm versus Grant.
