Grant’s Daryn Hickok led all scorers with 24 points as the Generals beat Newberg 58-32 in a game at Newberg High School.”

Hickok ‘s points came on 10 field goals and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Newberg was led by Andrea Ramos’ 10 points and Lexi Morace added 6. Newberg fell to 0-3 overall while Grant improved their record to 1-0.

Newberg’s next game is scheduled to be played at West Linn High School on Wednesday Dec. 13 at 6:45pm versus West Linn. Grant will host Central Catholic on Monday Dec. 11 at 7:15pm.
