Benson Tech Guard Makenzy Porter led all scorers with 12 points as the Techmen beat Grant 56-53 in a game at Grant.”

Porter’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Grant was led by Daryn Hickok’s 22 points and Marin Leonard added 13. Grant fell to 5-4 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 6-3.

Grant’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm versus Jefferson. Benson Tech will host Wilson on Friday Jan. 12 at 7:15pm.
