Benson Tech cruises by Cleveland 62-28

Benson Tech Guard Ciera Ellington led all scorers with 22 points as the Techmen beat Cleveland 62-28 in a game at Benson.”

Ellington’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 6 free throws during the game.

Cleveland was led by Grace Pytynia-Hillier’s 10 points and Kaiea Waiwaiole added 6. Cleveland fell to 4-6 overall while Benson Tech improved their record to 6-3.

Cleveland’s next game is scheduled to be played at Madison High School on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm versus Madison. Benson Tech will travel to Grant on Saturday Jan. 6 at 5:15pm to play Grant.
