South Salem Guard Hilary James led all scorers with 14 points as the Saxons beat Bend Lava Bears 43-35 in a game.

James’ points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Caitlin Wheeler added 10. Bend fell to 1-4 overall while South Salem improved their record to 2-3.
