UIL softball playoffs: Santa Gertrudis Academy beats Odem to win 3A Region IV Bi-District title (photos)

Santa Gertrudis moves on to face Lyford in the area round of the Texas high school softball playoffs

Jaci Salinas pitched a complete game, allowing just one run and striking out 13 to lead Santa Gertrudis Academy to a 10-1 victory over Odem in the Class 3A Region IV Bi-District softball playoffs on Thursday. 

With the victory Santa Gertrudis claims the Bi-District title and moves on to face Lyford in the area round.
