Mansfield Legacy scored 12 runs in the seventh inning

CLEBURNE - Trailing 9-1 in the seventh inning, Mansfield Legacy pulled off an improbable comeback on Saturday.

The Broncos scored 12 runs in the top of the seventh and went on to beat Aledo 13-9 in Game 3 of the of the Class 5A Region 1 baseball final at Cleburne High School.

Mansfield Legacy had nine hits, drew four walks and had a batter hit by a pitch in the remarkable seventh inning.

The Broncos move on to the Texas UIL 5A Baseball State Tournament next week.
