Fight breaks out in Frisco vs. Frisco Heritage football game; multiple players ejected
FRISCO, Texas - A fight broke out between Frisco and Frisco Heritage during the first quarter of their high school football game Thursday night at the Ford Center.
With Frisco holding a 7-3 lead late in the first quarter, Heritage completed a pass play that went for a first down. At the end of the play there was a late hit on the sideline that Frisco Heritage took exception to, and a fight ensued.
It took the officials five minutes to get everyone back on their respective sidelines, but not before multiple flags flew, and both coaching staffs got involved. The game came to a halt and in the end, three players from each team were ejected.
Play resumed after a 15-minute delay and after extensive deliberation between the officials and administrators.
