ROUND ROCK, Texas — James Ellwanger fanned 17 batters and carried a no-hitter in the the sixth inning to lead Magonlia West past Frisco Reedy 3-0 in the Texas (UIL) Class 5A state semifinals at Dell Diamond. 

Junior Dawson Park drove in Hayden Carpenter with a double to left-center and Caldwell McFaddin hit a sacrifice fly to center field to put Magnolia West up 2-0 in the third. 

The Mustangs added another — a Jackson Blank RBI single — in the sixth when Caylon Dygert came in and secured the final two outs for the save. 

Magnolia West will take on the winner of Cypress Woods and Lewisville Flower Mound in the state title game on Saturday.
