Timpson (Texas) 5-star athlete Terry Bussey is making headlines ahead of his September 28 college football commitment announcement.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound quarterback/wide receiver/defensive back/return specialist posted pictures on Wednesday in an Alabama Crimson Tide jersey on a visit.

Bussey's post included the hashtag "#RollTide."

Bussey is one of the nation's most electric athletes and one of the top quarterbacks in Texas

Playing for small-town Timpson in Texas' UIL Class 2A, Bussey led a 2A D-II state semifinal playoff, throwing for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns on a 64.7 completion rate and outpaced that on his feet with 2,596 rushing yard and 46 touchdowns.

On defense, he has 115 tackles and returned four of his five interceptions for touchdown, and he also housed three kick returns and a punt return for touchdown on special teams.

Bussey has set a September 28 commitment date and a final five schools of Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU and Alabama. He's heavily favored to pick Texas A&M according to major recruiting services.

Despite missing the first two weeks of the high school football season in Texas with an injury, he made an unlikely return in the fourth quarter and ran in the game-winning touchdown

He was an SBLive first team all-state selection as an athlete.

Timpson (3-0) plays at Waskom (1-2) on Friday at 7 p.m.
