DeSoto (9-0)

After beating Duncanville two weeks ago, the Eagles cemented their status as the best team in the state of Texas.

Dominant on both sides of the ball, they've won their nine games this season by an average of five touchdowns.

Harker Heights (7-3)

The Knights lost three of their first five games this season, but have since strung together a five-game win streak.

To keep their momentum rolling and advance to the second round of the state tournament, they'll have to figure out how to slow down a DeSoto offense that averages more than 51 points per game.
