Southlake Carroll scored on its first three offensive possessions en route to a convincing 45-14 victory over Highland Park on Friday afternoon in the regional semifinals of the UIL 6A Division II Region I state football playoffs at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington.

Running back Davis Penn scored three touchdowns in the game for the Dragons (12-1) who advance to the regional final.
