Aledo (15-0)
The Bearcats haven't lost a game since September of 2022. They are now on the doorstep of winning their second straight state title and 12th state championship in school history.
To make it back-to-back titles, they will look to senior QB Hauss Hejny to shoulder the load.
The TCU commit has piled up more than 3,500 yards of total offense this season and has a combined 37 touchdowns on the year.
Smithson Valley (14-1)
The Rangers lost a 17-16 nailbiter to Reagan in the first week of the season but have since rattled off 14 consecutive victories to land in the state finals.
They last played for a championship in 2004, and this year's team would love to finally get the school's first state title for head coach Larry Hill, who is in his 31st year with the program.
