Anna is having its best season in program history and has a chance at its first-ever state title, but the Coyotes will face their biggest test of the season on Friday when they take on Chapel Hill in the Texas UIL 4A Division 1 state championship.

These two teams are on a combined 17-game winning streak, but something will have to give this week when they face off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Anna (14-1)

With their win two weeks ago, the Coyotes became the first team in school history to win a regional championship, then followed it up with a semifinal win over Decatur last week. 

Now, they're on the verge of their first-ever state championship and would like nothing more than to continue adding to the record books. 

Chapel Hill (13-2)

After dropping two games in the final four weeks of the regular season, it was starting to look like the Bulldogs might not have what it takes to compete for a state title this year. 

However, they responded with five straight wins in the playoffs and now have a chance to clinch their first state championship since 2011. 

To upset Anna, they will lean heavily on an offense that averages nearly 46 points per game.
