Keeli Burton-Oliver, Anton Watson named 4A Washington High School Basketball AP Players of the Year

The Associated Press has named Eastlake junior Keeli Burton-Oliver and Gonzaga Prep senior Anton Watson the 2019 4A Washington high school state basketball players of the year. Watson was also named the all-classification boys player of the year by the AP.
Burton-Oliver, a 6-foot-3 post, averaged 24.8 points over a four-game state playoff stretch, leading No. 8 Eastlake to the 4A state championship where she was the state tournament MVP. She has already committed to play for Arizona State.
Watson, a Gonzaga signee, led Gonzaga Prep to a second consecutive 4A state title. The 6-foot-9 guard/forward is a four-star prospect and the No. 56 recruit in the country, according to ESPN.
