SPOKANE - Maddy Dixon scored 28 points and hauled in eight rebounds to lead top-seeded Pomeroy to a 41-26 win over Curlew on Thursday in the WIAA 1B girls basketball state tournament quarterfinals at the Spokane Arena.

Pomeroy moves on to face Oakesdale at 7:15 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
